General practice (GP) service

Our medical practice offers a comprehensive range of services to meet your healthcare needs. Our team of experienced doctors is dedicated to ensuring your well-being and delivering personalized care. Whether you need a consultation or ongoing management of a health condition, we are here to support you every step of the way.

Welcoming our new doctors

Dr Rukshi Lewis

Rukshi trained as a GP in the UK with a prior background in hospital medicine, in particular respiratory and rheumatology disorders. She moved to New Zealand last year and has been working here as a GP since mid October 2024. Her interests are acute medicine and autoimmune disorders. She lives with her husband, two children and her puppy. Her hobbies include music and she plays regularly in her Church. She also loves animals, being outdoors and walking.

Dr Meg Thomson

Meg trained as a GP in the UK and has been working on the North Shore since 2007. She enjoys all aspects of General Practice, from newborn babies to end of life care, with everything in between. She is particularly interested in Women’s Health and in diversity. She lives with her husband, teenage daughter and two cats.

Make an appointment:

You can book online via our Portal 'Manage My Health' or call the clinic at 09-449-0005​

For general inquiries, you can email us at reception@milfordmedical.co.nz

For non-urgent clinical inquiries, prescription requests email us on nurse@milfordmedical.co.nz
​In the email, please state your name, date of birth, medication required, and preferred pharmacy name / location​.​
 

These emails are cleared Monday through Friday from 9am to 3pm. Prescription requests can take up to 48 hours.​

Dr Chris Maud         Mon to Thu 8am-4pm Call the clinic for Friday appointments

Dr Eva Hay              Mon 1pm - 5pm Tue 8am-4.30pm Thu & Fri 8am-1pm

Dr Caroline Meade   Mon Wed & Thu 9am-4pm

Dr Paul Butler           3 days a week various hours

Dr Rukshi Lewis         Tuesday to Friday 9am - 12pm and 1:30 to 4:15

Dr Meg Thomson.     Mon, Tues, Thu 9:15am to 1:45pm & Fri 9:45am to 2:15pm

After hours & public holidays cover

If there is an emergency, dial 111. If you need medical advice after hours you can call Healthline at 0800-611-116. Urgent care clinics out of hours can be found at Shorecare Urgent Care Smales Farm. and at Greville Road
